Went to local pond to photo wood ducks. Realized I have too many recent duck photos. Saw a pair of Muskrats gathering greenery from the bottom of the pond, taking it to a partially submerged log to eat. They were a bit wary; the weather was cool and cloudy, but I did manage to get a couple of shots.

Good work, Jim, and a fine shot. I've never seen muskrats up close like this. It's kinda cute. Thanks for sharing.

I haven't run into muskrats in probably 40 years. Glad you were able to get some shots of it. Nice job!
