While I was in our library, I saw the Nov./Dec. 'Colorado Outdoors-Photography Issue' magazine on the racks. While enjoying the excellent wildlife photography, I saw that three of Kurt Bowman's superb images had been chosen (#5, #6, & #10 seen here).
Last September, Kurt had polled RMNP folk on our five favorite images out of 15 that he could submit to the magazine, and you can see the opinions offered here.
Congratulations, Kurt! It's about time your excellent wildlife photography was recognized. Hope this is just the beginning, too.
This issue of 'Colorado Outdoors' is well worth seeking out and purchasing for all of the great work published.

Congrats, Kurt! I've long admired your excellent wildlife work, glad you're getting some recognition for it.
Congratulations Kurt! I missed this set before, but it's great and I'm glad you got some recognition. Plenty of those shots would have been worthy selections!

Thanks for the post John and thanks everyone for the kind words. I really appreciated everyone's advice on what to submit. I think the suggestions really helped me a ton in getting the right images in front of the editor. Sorry I have been so absent from the forum lately....they have me buried at work right now, but I need to make the time. I really miss participating here on a regular basis and need to change that.
Anyhow, thanks again. I better hit the sack...leaving real early in the morning for Bosque for a few days. Hope everybody had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
