Sometimes earth tones are just the right tones. Here's a leaf study. Really adventurous I was, too, traveling all the way to the parking strip on the near side of the street...
I haven't been behind the viewfinder very much this season and can feel the rust building up in my photog's brain. BUT..., Anybody else doing any shooting?? I don't see any posts yet for the Winter Contest, which ends in a couple weeks.

Very nice Catherine, I love the earth toned colors and this is well shot. I think blown up and properly matted/framed it would look great hanging by the fireplace.

Very nice, Catherine. I like the detail you have int he leaves as well as the composition. Lots to keep the eye busy in this one.

I always love these abstracts...when someone else does them. I just can't master the balance, mood, and ART, like you did. Well done, Catherine.

I agree with the other comments Catherine. Very nice, well balanced composition and good details. I also struggle with this type of photo.
I agree about the rust. I'm like the tin man standing in the rain. Anyone have an oil can?
