I've really enjoyed the "Best of 2013" posts, so I thought I'd share my own meager efforts. My favorites of 2013 are in this GALLERY.
It was my "best year ever" for landscape photography, but that's not saying much given I purchased my first SLR about 3 years ago. ;) The images make me pretty happy, though, mostly just because they remind me that this was an important year for finding a good life balance, of which landscape photography now plays a vital part. Life is good, and spending time out on the Colorado Plateau in particular is one of my favorite parts of it.
To good light, life, and growth in 2014!

p.s. Yes, sorry about the blown cloud highlights in the yosemite valley image. I have another exposure to blend in to fix that; it was from April and I need to revisit the processing now that I know better what to do with it. ;)
Very nice images, Jared. My favorites are the Delicate Profile and Albion wildflowers. It's hard to get a unique image of DA, and I think you succeeded with that one. Wishing you great light in 2014!

Great collection! I can't believe this is only your third year shooting. If I'd captured images half this good in my third year, I'd have been thrilled...
Good heavens...what a set! Having a visit to White Pockets this year myself, I really appreciated Milky Pocket. 3 years with a camera...wow, the sky the limit for you Jared.
Great collection Jared! I really enjoyed the Milky Way/Delicate Arch image, but the others were really special as well, especially the fog in Yosemite Valley.
That's a terrific collection for just your third year out!
Having previously lived in California, I can say that you're fortunate to have been in Yosemite under those conditions of clouds and fog. It's good like it is, but I'd encourage you to go ahead and work on the blending. You'll learn something from doing it, then don't be afraid of going back and doing it again.

Nice work on the nighttime shots, as well.
