St Elmo on New Years Day
Spent New Years Eve at the Mt Princeton Hot Springs and the next morning drove up to St Elmo. A feet of snow on the ground really made it look nice, but missed the golden hour. I think I recovered the shot with this workup.

I like the comp and conversion here, Bob. For suggestions I could see a little noise reduction in the sky, unless you want it for a grain type effect, and a crop off of the bottom reduces the eye pull to the lower bright portion. The strong contrast and detail makes this very appealing.

The snow makes this one stand out. Might want to try a little vignette effect especially for the foreground.

I personally like the grainy feel to this one Bob. Nice and contrasty too.
