I was wondering if anyone else captured anything from the wave cloud along the front range Friday. It was amazing, had great colors and shapes. This is one from my apartment complex to give a sense of location and scale.

Very cool. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to pull one of those out when you wanted it?

I shot the same cloud using my cell phone as I was leaving work. I haven't uploaded any photo files here for a long time, so I may have made the file smaller than needed.

I saw this and put my quad up in the air to capture. The camera angle was too low so I missed most of the clouds. I'm getting fpv in the next few days so I don't miss it again!
WOW is right. Amazing image Morris. Thanks for sharing. I was in the Salt Lake City airport waiting for a flight home and missed this. Glad someone caught it.
Yep, saw this one on my drive home from work. I missed my camera! I got home and asked my wife if she saw the awesome sunset and she showed me a couple of images shot with her iphone. I teased her in good fun a bit because they looked pretty bad. I opened up your awesome image and tilted the screen her way and said "this is what the sunset looked like!"

Wow, great colors. I wish I could pre-order one like that for my next Big Bend trip. ☺

Like a flaming cloud, the lower sunlit sections really stand out.
