After many years of being a member of the Landscape/M&N Gallery moderating team, Lon Overacker is taking a much deserved break. Our sincere thanks to Lon for his time, effort and inspiration!
Stepping in to fill the vacant spot is a long time NPN regular and gifted nature photographer, David Chauvin. He joins Bill Chambers, Eva McDermott, Abdullaziz Bin Ali and Kah Kit Yoong in moderating the Landscape and Man & Nature galleries.
A special thank you to all of the moderators who do such a tremendous job with overall support and their excellent advice.
No doubt Lon was extremely supportive to many of us who posted over the years in the very strong ESS / Landscape gallery. I learned a lot with his help during my earlier years here at NPN. His ideas on and off line with regard to film related posts was always very important to me. Thank you for all you've done to support many here at NPN......
A big welcome to you David as the newest member of the ESS / Landscape excellent moderating team here at NPN....

Thanks guys, I appreciate the comments! I truly enjoyed the role as moderator, but more than that I really enjoyed helping other photographers, and I think that's what makes the NPN community special - folks willing the help each other out to become better photographers.
I hope to be back posting again in the future, as soon as I have some new images to process and share!

Thanks for all your help Lon especially when I first joined NPN. It was also great working with you as a co-moderator. I look forward to more of your magnificent large format images.
