Hi everyone,
I was curious to your thoughts. If you could buy any camera equipment you wanted, what would that be? Camera, landscape lens, and telephoto lens?
Thank you for your comments and input

Took me all of 1/125 of a second to think of my answer:
Canon 1Dx, 400mm f/2.8 IS II and all 4 Tilt-Shift Lenses (17mm, 24mm, 45mm and 90mm). Image quality, image quality, image quality!

What Paul said (more or less)

What Paul said, but add in the 200-400 f/4 with the built in 1.4 converter, a spare 5D Mark III, 24 f/1.4, 85 f/1.2, and of course a 70-200 f/2.8 in the middle....

Yes! I didn't want to overdo it, but that's what I would add. I think for me though, I'd swap out the 24/1.4 for a 50/1.2. I use that 50 on my 5D3 and it has to be my favorite point-n-shoot camera.

if money's no object, I'll also add the new 600 f/4 to the list along with all the other great gear, and then of course an assistant to carry it all around for me!
I'm keeping my 36 mp Nikon D800, thanks - but I'd add an 800mm lens with a Sherpa to carry it.

Though I'd like to test it more (having using it only once with mixed results), I'd probably like to add the Canon 200-400, and then swap my 500 for the new 600. Otherwise, about the only other thing I could think I'd like to add (since we're dreaming) would be an underwater housing.

I'd like the Canon 200-400 and also swap my 500 for the new 600 and I'd trade my 1DMIV for a 1DX. And definitely would love an underwater housing (that's a fantastic dream purchase Max!)

Thank you to all for responding. I thought it would be fun to see what your ideal " money no object Dream Equipment" would look like. We can open it up to all and any "dream equipment" not just for Canon or Nikon you would want if you could.
Keep your thoughts coming. And remember....Dreams can come true!
Thanks again for your thoughts

I would go for the Canon 600, also. And maybe a 5d mkiii to replace my mkii. As for other gear, I'd like a new Canon (8300?)or HP Z-series printer of the 24" variety, along with the room (and time!!) necessary to use it. Not sure about a 1DX, but I'd sure like to try out whatever has the highest ISO range.
