Oodles of trees
Still working it....

Another good shot from the Ponderosa forests! The comp seems well balanced, Ned, and I like the inclusion of a little of the foreground without trees too. The only thing that seems a bit out of place is the bright snags in the upper right - maybe tone them down a bit?

Ned,
I really like the arrangement of the trees. There are sure alot of possibilities for comps in this area with those huge, red trees.

Thanks for the comments. I agree Erik - I want to go back again and again...

Ned, beautiful trees - very nice photos. I have been enjoying your shots of these amazing Ponderosa's.

I have tried often to get shots of great trees (inspiration of Ansel Adams), but am just far to cowardly to post after seeing your beauties.

I'd like to see them Janet.. These are my favorite trees to shoot, and I am still looking for the perfect grove to shoot a vertical pano I like..

This is the best of the ponderosas you have posted so far. I'll bet this area would be incredible after first snowfall, too...
