Chapel on the Rock

Back in November, I'd gone to Wild Basin and on my way down to town afterwards, I passed by this landmark. My jaw dropped at the effects of the flood. It was super busy in front with all the heavy equipment trying to clean things up, so I knew I'd have to come back on a Sunday or holiday. Thanksgiving was just a few days away, so I returned at first light Thanksgiving morning. I'm sure many of you are familiar with this little chapel, so I thought you'd be interested in seeing what happened to it.

I drove past it a couple weeks ago and not much has changed there. Fortunately the chapel was spared.

Hope they get it cleaned up soon.

They are clearing it all up this week, hauling all of the logs out of there. They are about half way done.
