February Theme - Abandoned
For February the selected theme is Abandoned. Images of old nests, buildings, barns, mills, fences are just a few options for this months theme. I'm sure we all have plenty that will work great for this one- let's see 'em!

My entry is a springtime view of the Saddle Mountains south of Tonopah, AZ through the window frame of an abandoned stone house.

Somewhere in southeast Idaho last fall. The road from Yellowstone to the Tetons was closed due to the sequestration and we had to drive 6 hours around to get to the Tetons. Found this little gem on a backroad.

Old truck somewhere between Moab and Mexican Hat UT. I'm sure many of you know exactly where and have your own pics of it. I gave it a little treatment.

The same truck, without the treatment.

Deleted last reply & pic as I selected the wrong export (too dark) and could not modify the pic I attached. SO, here is my submittal for "Abandoned."

Great Sand Dunes NP (GRSA) is rarely blanketed with snow, but my trip on 31 Jan / 01 Feb certainly made for a new look! I've done a number of trips to GRSA during Winter months and there's usually a fair number of folks out exploring and whatnot. This trip was one where the park was definitely abandoned!

Well, as long as Pueblo Bontio and Chaco Canyon are fair game, here's my favorite shot from there.

Originally shot on medium-format film back in 2003 or so. Almost certainly Provia 100F.

Amy, that shot of the house on the plains is beautiful.
