Apostle Islands Ice Caves
Phil's posts from the past couple of weeks about the Apostle Islands Ice Caves got me to thinking that I sure would like to go there; it's on my bucket list. And then, a brilliant idea struck - let's go! :)

Frankly, our conditions weren't as good as Phil's conditions. My photos of the area pale when compared to the one that he posted. <deep sigh...>

I pushed the saturation and vibrance in the photo that I'm posting, just to create a bit more interest.

Enjoy the photo and the following link, if you wish...

Tim!

I did enjoy the photo link. While I like the above photo, I especially like four at the end-the ones with green and two following the green ones.Excellent.

My first thought on seeing this image was" I think I smoked some of that" so I would say that you did increase the intrest in PP. I think that your whole series was fantastic. I'm glad that you and Phil got to spend some time there and share the experience. Thanks.

Kendall - yours is one of the all-time best comments that I've ever read here! :)

Thank you for making my day,

Tim!

Great images, Tim! What a sight it must be in person to see all that ice!

Loved your story of your trip. I was going to post a photo and let everyone know what it was like at the ice caves this year on a weekend. Great pictures. I wanted to get some shots of the large crowds but just didn't have it in me go on a weekend.

There was an article on our local newspaper today that said that there have been >66,000 visitors to the Ice Caves the past few weeks - amazing! People are coming from all over the US and the world to see them!
