I'm entering a photo in a contest with the subject of Bridges. I'm wanting to improve this image so any suggestions are welcome. And of course I'm turning it in Thursday (3-27).

My eye was first drawn to the upper right sky. So pump up that sky but darken the right side. You need to make the bridge the focal point. I would darken the reflection in the water just a bit also. And the water looks blue but it might be my monitor. I can't tell if most of those limbs are in front of the bridge or behind but I would probably take some of those out depending on how much they will let you modify the image. Just looks a little busy around the bridge. Ok that's my two cents worth.
Good luck!

Looks pretty darn good to me, Rod. The bridge and waterfall provide nice leading lines to the sunrise, and the warm reflection is a beautiful enhancement. Very nice.

If I'm not too late, Rod, I wouild say that if the subject is bridges I would also try to emphasize the bridge a little more.
The bright sky in the right distracts my eye away from the bridge at first. I like the parallel perspective the bridge and waterfall create. Good luck, let us know how it turns out.

I like the image, especially the reflections and light in the water.

What most draws my eye is the orange reflection in the water, along the top of the dam over to the bright sky. The bridge is almost a secondary object in the image. I am not sure cropping it will work. This would have been a great time to have a quad copter to hover over the water looking more upstream.

Good luck with the entry!
