I can say with 100% certainty that they're real and walk among us. For all of the evil in the world, angels tip the scales back in favor of good and give us hope, because that's what angels do.
What a wonderful follow up story to the tragic outcome of the earlier Boston Marathon event. A good read of the articles and it was really nice to see Emily was able to be featured in the video as well........
Believing in Angels is part of my religion [Islam], without it my religion is missing and not complete or something wrong, in fact God mentioned Angels after his Glory/Unique/Greatest name, so if we dump angels means we took one very important column, and it may lead to destroy our religion.
About what kind of angels, how, whom,... this is another story, you believe in your way, we believe in our way.
Wonderful story, Jim - you and Donna should be very proud of this amazing young lady you raised.

Paul and Sandy, thanks - we are indeed proud of Emily!
Tareq, I hope you did not find my post offensive to your religious beliefs as it was not intended to be that way. I use "angels" in a figurative sense, i.e., as human beings who generously help others. These people are often referred to as "Earth angels."

I, too, believe in angels. Sounds like your daughter is one of those angels who come in human form and whose love touches and heals people. I'm sure you must be very proud!

Jim - the pride you and your wife must feel is immeasurable. Congrats to you and your daughter for being such good people and for the help you are all providing to those affected. It's a shame that my town lost such good people when the Erhardts moved away but I'll take pride and satisfaction in knowing you were once part of this community.

Debbie, she is indeed, thanks!
Luke, thanks much - your kind words are very much appreciated!
Ah ok, i can understand that, like we say children are like angels in innocence and so on, no problem, i was thinking another way, my mistake.

Jim: A wonderful story of human compassion. The entire community of care givers should be applauded. You have much to be proud of with your daughter. Thanks for sharing this touching story. As one of my photographic inspirations says "Celebrate What's Right With the World" - Dewitt Jones
