Return of Medano
Got to the dunes yesterday, first of their free three day weekend (why must I always get into the NPs free when I have a stinkin park pass?! )
Details in my blog:

Beautiful! I'll be heading down there soon.

Very nice, and the best of a good set of images. Not many make good (or any other kind of) images from this waterway. Glad you were there!
You might consider patching the overexposed strip of sky.

Hi Stan, beautiful image. Looks like a cooler WB, certainly works for me. I'll be headed out there at the end of May with the family hopefully the water will stick around.

Very nice, Stan. I need to get my butt down there. It's so near, and yet seems so far...

Nice series Stan...you own that place! I think my favorites are Medano Epiphany and the Marbled Medano. Just an FYI...you have a typo on your website on the Medano Epiphany....missing the "n" in Medano. Nice work!

Stan, you've made so many good images here they should let you in free year-round. ;) Medano epiphany is my favorite of this very nice set. :toast:

Nice job Mr. Dunes! I'm partial to the first one on your blog with the nicely contrasting colors.

Stan, of these, Medano Epiphany would be my preference of one to keep if you are limiting to just one. Composition, cropping, colors look good and natural.
