Although I've photographed this old homesite many times, I've never liked what I got. So yesterday I waited around for some late afternoon filtered light and finally got something decent. For this pano, I stitched 5 frames taken with an 80-200 lens at 130mm. Lots of detail... Many of the wildflowers are past peak in the valley, with mainly phlox in bloom and the mayapples about to start.

I like the soft light, with the patches of varying colors. the pano crop seems just right.
