Alstrom Point Views
I mentioned that I would be up at Lake Powell over Easter weekend. Here are a few from Alstrom Point.

What a nice collection! My favorites are the classic scene (#1) with the shadow/light interplay, and the almost abstract nature of #6. This one really appeals to me. It's well composed and 'developed', while a completely unique vision from this popular point.

Bob, what a fantastic desert grand vista scene. Ive always been curious to Alstrom Points Panoramic possibilities; it appears to be the ultimate Vista shot. And you have captured this scene beautifully. I especially like #1, the cyan reflected light on Lake Powell from the blue sky makes bluebird days worthy of photography, especially mixed with that golden last minute sunlight.

#4 connects with me as well. Last light... must have been an awesome night up there.

Great set Bob! Number 1 is my favorite, it's got everything, a great comp, colors with pop, and nice light and shadow play, really well done. I think #3 is my second choice, I just like it.

Well done, Bob. Numbers 1 and 4 are my favorites. I was down that way a few days ago and had hoped to stop but fatigue won out. Next time, though! :toast:

Bob, my favorite from the set is #3. In #6, I could see a crop of the top 20% to put more focus on the scalloping white lines.
