If you have the Creative Cloud subscription, you'll notice you're logged out and can't login. Also, the Login link on Adobe.com points to their "Temporarily Down" 404 page as well. The @AdobeCare team tweeted out about an hour ago that they are still working on it (as on 8:25am PDT).

What it means for CC users is simply that synchronization isn't working at the moment. Photoshop CC fires up just fine. No sync simply means that if you added 12 Actions and rearranged your workspace in PS CC last night on your desktop PC, those changes won't push down to your laptop if you fire it up this morning. Once Adobe sorts out their latest techno-burp, we'll be in sync.

On a positive note, this proves that you don't need to be online nor logged in to "run" PS CC at every given moment, which is nice. I think we knew that but now it's certain.

Still down as of 12:15pm PDT. You can check status at http://status.creativecloud.com.

Here's more from Mashable

<Rant>This kind of stuff is precisely the reason I have stayed away from the 'cloud'. It seems there are far too many outages and such. </end rant>

Finally back up, not sure when.

Preston, I cracked up from the email with your reply where you use Rant/EndRant tags around your statement, lol! Not showing here for some reason.

Just for clarity's sake, the damage from this outage didn't stop us CC users from using any of our apps (I do have the whole shebang with Premiere, Audition, etc, etc). BUT, if you were traveling or at work and wanted to quickly install your second installation for a last-minute project, yeah, you would have been skunked. The big question I still want answered is how many times or for how many days will PS CC still fire up without a verification ping from the Creative Cloud server. Hate to find out the hard way, like on a trip overseas, etc.

Paul, I saw that too. I think the forum software strips html tags because html formatting is not allowed.

For those of you on Adobe CC: I'm glad it's up and running again. Things like that can be very frustrating.

Wow, I'm amazed we actually have that long (30 days). I think I remember hearing that when this all started.
