Big Bend -Santa Elena Canyon
Here are a couple of images from my Big Bend trip last month. One of the locations I always seem to visit is Santa Elena Canyon. If any of you ever make it out there(and you really should) then put a visit here on your list of things to do in this park.

I went for both a sunset and a sunrise on my last visit. Well make that I went for the Milky Way at 3am and then a sunrise.....

Here is a nightscape of the milky Way over the canyon wall. Canon 6D with a Bower 24mm f/1.4 lens.

No light painting, this is a single frame. The f/1.4 sure captures the light!

You can see more on my blog linked below.

Here is another from Santa Elena Canyon. This one is in the late afternoon. Taken on my Sony NEX-6 with the Rokinon 8mm fisheye. If you shoot a crop sensor camera I cannot recommend the Samyang (also branded Rokinon or Bower) 8mm fisheye enough. Under $300 for Canon L series sharpness. An amazing wide view too.

Nice series, Darren - the color and perspective in the second shot is awesome.
