HELP! I need to hire a photographer who uses Lightroom to do some post processing. I give up! I don't seem to understand the ratio issue when cropping and then my photos are too soft for the printer.

I have wasted several months trying to post process clarity, color and cropping and I'm over it!
.75 a photo is what I am willing to pay. I have hundreds so if somebody needs the money or knows a college kid who does, please send them my way.

Thank you.

Joanne, I'm not interested, but it would help those who are to know how many images need processing, and what is the general subject - landscape, portrait, sports, family... all of the above?

Hi Joanne,

I think it's best to try to learn these things on your own even if you have to fight through some frustration (trust me, I've been there). Jani Kabili is teaching an all-day Lightroom class on Saturday, June 14 in Golden for the Colorado Photography Festival.. The registration fee for the festival will be waived for this class, so you could attend all-day for $150 (which is about half her normal rates). Joann has an MFA in photography, she's recorded many courses for the lynda.com Online Training Library, and has authored many published books and articles on these subjects. She even wrote the Photoshop CS5 Adobe Certified Experts Exam. It looks like the class size will be fairly small (less than 10). You can find out more at:

Or you can contact me for more info.

I have spare time the next couple weeks. Too hot here to go out and shoot. Reply sent via NPN mail.
