Its a little tight for my taste and am not sure if its focused on the shoulder as the eye doesnt look as sharp-good feather detail and great detail in those legs/feet,Where abouts in the South of France was this taken phillip,I bet after the weather the UK is getting you are itching to get back
Hi Mike no airline for me I have a slow drive down it usually takes me a couple of days but I did comeback one-year in a hurry and did it non-stop in 15-17 hours including ferry crossing.
Dave in the camargue we stay at Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer it is very close to the coast with the whole Camargue behind you a really beautiful place to stay.
Phillip.
Ps this is nearly full frame just a little bit of the bottom I think the eye is a little bit soft
Nice detail in the whites. Good pose but I would also like a little bit more space around the bird, otherwise an excellent portrait of this attractive bird.
Hi Philip
plenty of detail in the Whites and the blacks for me and I agree that it is a wee bit tight in the frame. Other wise a very nice shot.

A shade tight, as noted but nice to view
