Sure Dan, the easiest way to try FIRST is to open PS CC 14 and go to the Help menu and make sure you're signed in. If not, sign in (and it might ask if you want to sync settings, say yes). If you ARE signed in, then go to the Edit menu and when that drops down you should see your Adobe ID (email address) at the bottom. Hover over that and select Download settings. Your settings from CC should be already saved in the Adobe Cloud, and this will put them on your machine. Then just go to Keyboard shortcuts and pick your set if the sync doesn't auto-merge them. In fact, check your "Set" DropDown list on the Keyboard Shortcuts form first, maybe they are there. PS does NOT auto-select migrated keyboard presets, it picks Default as... er.. um... default.
Is there any reason I want to still keep the older version of PS?
Dan, at least one filter has been removed from CC 2014, the Oil Paint Filter. If you need that, then clearly you don't want to remove the prior version. My take is that it is best to leave the old version on the machine for a couple of months, and see if there are issues and/or things that are missing before removing the old version. The only cost is a bit of disk space to keep the old version around. In today's world, that's a non-issue.
Hey guys, I was having trouble with this as well. And I'm sure now it was because I wasn't "logging out" of CC 2014, then going back to CC, log in again and make sure I did a sync. Then log out again... launch 2014 and log in one more time and then "download settings."
Here's another issue I'm having. I don't want to bug Tony quite yet, but I can't get his Actions panel to load in Extension manager in 2014 version. You can see in the screenshots that it's installed for CC x64 (also installed for the 32bit). When I go to install it on CC2014, I get the warning popup, but then it just reinstalls the extension on the old versions (both of them.)
I suspect either A. I must remove the CCx64, CCx32 versions, then install the TK.v2 extension on CC2014 OR B. what I'm afraid of, is that the panel set needs to be re-compiled for CC2014.
Lastly, and this is bonus question.... Windows 8.1, 64 bit. I have 3 versions of PS now; CCx32, CCx64, and CC2014. I can launch all 3 from the Apps screen and according to PS and manage extensions, there are 3 versions. However, when I go to Programs and Features to potentially remove PS CC, it only shows 2 entries for Photoshop. I'll probably answer my own question by saying that if I uninstall Photoshop CC, that it will uninstall both the 32 and 64bit versions?
I haven't been processing any images and so the whole Creative Cloud thing is still new to me, so I have no aversion to keep the CC versions - EXCEPT, if I can't get Tony's panel to load in 2014. Any thoughts on this?
Double check the version number for Adobe Extension Manager. It needs to be at least version 7.2. Mine is 7.2.0.74

How do Install Extension Manager 7.2 to support CC 2014 applications?
After Installing Photoshop CC 2014 you will want to also Update the Extension Manager to version 7.2.
To check the version of your Extension Manager, choose About Extension Manager and notice the version number listed
If a version lower than 7.2 is installed, the Extension Manager will not be able to work with CC 2014 applications
If no update beyond 7.1 is available via Creative Cloud Desktop app initially, perform these steps to get the latest version of Extension Manager installed.
Uninstall the Extension Manager using its uninstaller.
Mac: /Applications/Extension Manager CC/Uninstall Adobe Extension Manager CC
Win: Add/Remove Programs
Quit the Creative Cloud Desktop Application
Restart CC Desktop Application
Reinstall Extension Manager
You should now have Extension Manager 7.2 installed.
Also looks like you might have an older version of the TK panel. The latest is Version 3 (at least on my system). Since I work with Tony debugging things for the Mac, I might have versions that are different, but I think this is the latest production release. Tony sent out an e-mail in early June to customers alerting them to the new panel and how to get a copy (for a small fee) of the latest and greatest that works with CC 2014.

I'll go ahead and contact Tony. I've been out of touch and don't recall the email (doesn't mean I didn't get it... ;-)
Thanks!
