Big Bend Under the Stars-yet again
Another images from under the stars in Big Bend National Park. Taken early one morning at the rugged pinnacles of the Grapevine Hills.

See more images on my blog.

Thanks for keeping some fresh images on this forum. You must be about the foremost photography expert on Big Bend. I enjoy seeing well done images from and area that I am not familiar with but it is obvious that the photographer is very familiar with. I'll have to admit that I have been too busy to do much photography this year(unfortunately) new girlfriend(fortunately)

I really like the second image on your blog. The diagonal that the milky way creates across the sky makes for a very interesting and balanced composition.

Thanks Ken . I do frequent Big Bend but by no means do I consider myself much of an expert. I really think the park a lot to offer the photographer but gets little visitation since it is so remote. Its easy to have great images when you are one of the few going there ☺
