Lexar to release CS2/Bridge Card Downloader plug-in

Some interesting news for the Bridge/CS2 addicts out there - it seems that Lexar are going to release a plug-in for Bridge that can carry out some similar functions to BreezeSys's Downloader Pro. Their press release is here.

Presumably to support their new 24 bit PCMCIA cardbus Compact Flash adapter?

err, isn't 24bit a bit slow. The one i've been using from them is 32bit and i've had it for over a year now.

I stand corrected, certainly faster than my present PCMCIA adapter, I've had to order one as no where in London sells them despite being advertised as stock items at Calumet and Jacobs

sigh, u should have said so earlier as i would have sold u mine. I'm upgrading to a macbook pro soon and the darn thing doesn't have a pcmcia slot anymore!
