Foggy Redwoods
One of many images I took last week from my trip to the redwoods, where I had the pleasure to be accompanied by fellow PNWNP member and friend Bruce King.

We didn't get the godbeams we were hoping for, but we did get some fog...and rhodies! Thought they would have been done by the time we got there, but apparently not...

Awesome shot, Joe. I love the perspective and the fog, and the Rhodies. I've been down there many times over the years, always looking for fog and Rhodie blooms. But never had the luck. I'm glad that you and Bruce did.

Well done.

Beautiful shot Joe! With everything blooming so early here I'm amazed the Rhodies were still in bloom. Very nice job!

I was amazed as well Steve. We weren't expecting any either. Where we were staying up the road at Jedediah Smith, there were none. I'm guessing that Del Norte being closer to the coast and receiving more fog were maybe the factors causing a longer blooming period. Whatever the reason, we certainly were happy about it!
