So long and many thanks!
Well, my membership fees have come due, and I'm forced to confront the fact that I simply don't have time these days to participate in RMNP as I would wish. So I'm afraid it's time to bid a fond farewell to a favorite forum. I want to extend my deepest thanks to everyone here, and especially those longstanding members who have been stalwarts over the years. I've learned enormous amounts from all of you and your excellent photographic work always has and will continue to brighten my days. And should my time free up a little down the road, I hope I may come back at some point.

I do hope folks will drop in on my blog now and again: frishmanphoto.wordpress.com. And if anyone is out here in my backyard visiting the Eastern Sierra, the ancient bristlecones or the Eureka Dunes, please drop me a line at frishmanphoto@gmail.com. I'd love to meet up and go shooting, or better yet spend some time exploring the wilds of the western Great basin!

I'll leave you with a view from near my home, a lifting winter storm over Deep Springs Valley and the Sierra Nevada. So long and best wishes to all!

Great view from the house! Sorry to hear you won't be hanging around anymore. I thought about you this spring when I was kayaking the MF of the Salmon at 6.8ft and the Main Salmon at 33K-52K at the end of May.

Sorry to see you go, Jackson! I hope you'll still pop and look around here once in a while.

Best of luck and light to you! :wavey:

Don't go Jackson! Keep in mind the NPN offers just regional forum "memberships", only $20 per year. Only lets you reply in this forum, but that works for me!

We'll miss your contributions, Jackson. :wavey:

I hope to make it out to the Poleta folds and bristlecones this fall, so there might be an opportunity to meet up.

Good luck to you, Jackson. It was good to meet you last February even if we didn't get to shoot together. I might make it back to the main part of Death Valley again next February, but that's a ways from Deep Springs... I'll try to monitor the blog every once in a while.

Good luck and good light!
