I'd like to get your opinions on this one, I shot sunrise on both days as well, and got some very different kind of images. I like this one and a few more, but would like to get your opinions.

Looks like a very dynamic scene - the darkness of the rocks is a little too dark for me, and for some reason I see a halo around the right sea stack - maybe from ND compensation ?? The sky is amazing.

Did you do a similar composition a bit more to the Right so that you didn't include the little stack at the far left that is cut off ?

I'm still jazzed thinking you have mothers day hiking somewhere each year with your mom. That a really special thing to have in your life.

John, I liked many of your suggestions and implemented fixes including straightening the horizon. Let me know what you think.

Hi Zack, I like your rework. the composition is much stronger with the right side cropped off, as you did in the second. Still what looks like a pretty strong halo around the big rock-maybe from resizing for web??

Kevin, yes the halo that is left is from resizing and sharpening for the web. Thanks for the feedback.

Zack, I love the rework! I found the little stack at the far left of the original frame distracting, too. It led my eye out of the frame. Other than that I think it's a fine photo! :toast:

Zack,
The rework is, short and sweet..............."SCREAMS STOCK!" Superb

This is nice, Zack. I echo all of the above.
