Not sure why I had never made it to this spot until a couple weeks ago, but I guess there are plenty of other iconic locations I haven't seen yet either. I think I could spend a lifetime just exploring places within 4 hours of my Utah home and still not see half of what deserves the attention of my lens.
This is a two-exposure blend with adjustments using luminosity masks and a couple TK actions, additional selective dodging/burning, and a saturation bump of the reds and blues. C&C much appreciated!
Really nice, Jared. This is one of my favorite locations in the Moab area. Seems as though the view stretches out to infinity.

Beautiful image Jared, the larger image is a real treat to view. Excellent detail in the canyon and I love the intricacy in the clouds. The blend looks great, no nits from me.

Very pretty scene and the colors work very well together. Saturation looks just to my taste.

Thanks, gentlemen. Bret, I stopped by your fine gallery in Moab on this trip and chatted with Melissa for a few minutes. Hopefully I can time it to meet you next time I come through!

Hi Jared,
Very nice image. This is one of my favorite locations too, have been there for dozens and dozens of sunsets. I think the colors in the sky could use a little more contrast and saturation, in particular the top and left sides. But it is still very nice as is.
Green River Overlook is one of my favs as well. It's really easy to shoot and I'm always thinking the next shot will be my best. Jared, I've got zero critique. This one looks as good as it can. I realized its perfection when I starred at the image for about 60 seconds with a critical eye then decided to give up; thought I was wasting my time. I will say there will be better conditions to strive for with additional visits. Plus you may want to check out some different comps including the one with the dead tree, and some possible Candlestick Tower scenes. Thanks for sharing.

This looks real nice and am liking the purplish tone against the orangeish sky. You might try (and see if you like) just a very small amount more contrast to make the canyon darkness stand out from the white rim, and a tiny amount more brightness- just very tiny amounts. This should look great framed in black.

Well done. Great sunset you caught there.

Nicely processed Jared. I think I could sit at that overlook all day and not shoot the same comp twice.

A true classic! A beautiful view that I do not get sick of, especially with these conditions.
