I've been active on NPN for the last 6 years or so and it has been a great learning experience and photography has been on upswing, just hope that I manage to maintain the correct focus on my work.
Recently, I was invited by an Indian magazine 'SAEVUS' to do a column, to give critique on the readers' pictures and you won't believe, my experience at NPN helped me do it effortlessly.
A big THANK YOU NPN !!!

Jagdeep, thanks for posting this!
There is SO much more to writing a meaningful critique than just a "great shot" drive-by comment commonly encountered on the mega photo sites. Learning to write a thoughtful critique serves as the means of improvement of our own photography.
jagdeep, i'm not surprosed by your being asked to do a column ( hearty congrats ) nor by how helpful NPN participation was/is in helping you.
So many benefits to being an NPN member; not all of them are tangible or immediate.
