This photo, as well as all but one of the square shots on that page, was shot with Sony A7R + Canon TS-E 17mm; two horizontal shots with lens shifted up and down then stitched together. Big mountains, wide lens!
Thanks for looking!

Beautiful imagery Jack. It doesn't look like you had much tee shirt weather. That is a whole world away from the summer heat here in the desert. I'll go back and spend some time on your write up when I get more time. Thanks for posting- I have passed along this link to my friends.
You continue to bring fresh, gorgeous images from new places that few of us will ever experience as you do. You are doing some great stuff w/ that Sony and lens combo ....... I sure hope Canon figures this out before long. Well done, Jack!

Very impressive, Jack - quite a productive trip I'd say. The posted image and Cathedral Sunset Reflection are my favorites of the set. The image of the two of you looking out over the lake is great as well. Great memories to go with the great images!

Thanks all!
@Bob: We actually did have a lot of good t-shirt weather; we were really luck the entire week with nice weather while hiking, then right after we'd arrive and set up our tent, the raindrops would start falling. Quite uncanny, really!
@Ed: Yeah, I'm totally digging the Sony A7R... Sony has set the bar very high with this one; it'll be interesting to see if Canon can catch up.

That was an incredible set Jack! Those are conditions I would hope for if I ever get up there. I liked every one of these. I have heard the mosquitos can be pretty fierce up there.

Very nice set Jack. The placement of the reflection in the first is well done. The image that stood apart to me is the Wildflowers in the Cirque of the Towers.

Sweet! My fav is Hooker Paintbrush. Im headed for Titcomb (depending on weather), been waiting for the mosquitoes to die off...
Congratulations Jack on another fantastic trip to the Winds. Since I haven't made that trip happen yet, I appreciate seeing the Winds through your eyes. Your photography showcases these beautiful mountains perfectly and your commitment to your craft continues to impress and inspire me. Both Mt Hooker sunrise shots and Desolation Sunrise are my favorites.
