There is a classic mt. bike ride called the Mackenzie River Ride that I've done once. It starts a ways south of here, rides up to the lake, around the lake and back down south. 25 miles in all. I did it in the fall a few years ago and it was simply dreamy the whole way. In fact, it would be an awesome PNWNP trip this fall when the leaves are changing.

I like the wedge of green you included on the left side of the image. There's lots of water coming over that falls right now! :smile:

The geeens look awesome! I also visit this area every year. I camp at the Mckenzie Bridge campground. This IS a beautiful area. Its pristine and green.
