Hi,

There will be a 3 day landscape photography workshop on July 19-21 at the Valles Caldera National Preserve. For more information you can check out the reservation page or feel free to drop me an email. JoAnn and I will be participating as instructors this year and we should have most of the details ironed out in the next couple of weeks.

We also wrote a short photo itinerary article last year about the Preserve that provides a little more information -- this year's workshop should be a much more involved event in comparison to the photo excursion we discuss in the article.

This is very cool Pat! The price is a bit steep for us, but I'm glad you're leading this trip. Have fun!

A bit pricey for me too, even if I could make it, but I hope it's a great one.

The VCNP is an extraordinary place but I don't think I can swallow $900 to photograph public land! I wish the Feds would fund the VCNP at a realistic level so they wouldn't have to raise money themselves by charging outrageous prices to visit the place or considering ruining it with cattle grazing. :frown:
