Yesterday afternoon I checked out one of my favorite areas on the road to Buffalo Pass and was surprised how much this area at about 8,500 ft. had changed in the last few days. Seems like it's coming on fast and if you like a combination of red-yellow-green this will be a good place to be this weekend. There's a couple more pics on the foliage update thread.

Nice! I agree with Ken though, it definitely looks different without piles of the white stuff.
