Anyone have any plans for the holiday weekend that include some photography? I think I'm going to head down to Paint Mines Park with my camera bag and check it out. I'm also itching to get back up to Rocky Mtn. for the first time since October but fear its gonna be a zoo. So, how about you. :wavey:

Although my photographic resolution this year was to shoot more images in Colorado than I shoot in Utah, once again I'm heading west. I'll be in Vernal, Utah, shooting Fantasy Canyon but I may have a chance to head over to Dinosaur, N.M., to get some Colorado images while I'm there.

CAZ, please post your images of Fantasy canyon when you get back. I wanted to go there during spring break, but it was snowing badly. I love the photos of that place.

If anyone heads up to RMNP, I'll be in Bond Park in the center of Estes all weekend showing my wares. Stop by and say hello!

Sure thing Momo. I should warn you that I'm a hold-out medium format film shooter so it will be a couple of weeks before everything is processed and ready for posting.

I am heading out to Telluride for a looong weekend - leaving this afternoon. Anyone else in the area?

Eric, I may be in the Park this weekend, for sure I will stop by if I get up there! :wavey:

I'm going to try to catch a sunrise or 2 at Steamboat Lake, and a fish or 2.

Darren – not sure if I will make it up to Owl Creek on this trip. I plan on hiking up to Silver Lake and the Alta Lakes area.

Photography? Pish! Indy 500 Sunday morning, followed by Nextel Cup's Coca Cola 600. I'm gonna strap myself in a comfy chair (but not with a 5-point harness or HANS device), suck down a few Route-44 diet vanilla Cokes from Sonic, crank the stereo for maximum raceday effect and call Jerry every time somebody hits the wall. (hopefully Tony Stewart hits it first!)

I'm going to the Tetons, and I'll probably end up shooting the standard scenes. At least I've never shot them before.

If any of you are around Capitol Reef, I'll be giving a slideshow at the Robber's Roost bookstore in Torrey on Saturday, 7:30pm.

The In-Laws have a condo for a week in Winter Park and we're probably going to head up there Sunday morning. If the chance presents itself I may sneak away and head up into the Grand Lake entrance of RMNP to see if I can scare up a moose or two.

Nat and I will be at the Moab Art Festival Sat. & Sun., so if anyone's around there, stop by and say hi.
