Just wondering if anyone of you fellow NPNers are on Instagram. I'm sure there are some that are..

You can follow me @JrookPhotos

I post almost 100% wildlife/nature stuff, mostly taken with my DSLR but some stuff straight from the iPhone. Would love to follow some fellow photogs.

Also, any chance NPN would want to get into the instagram game? May be more trouble than it's worth - but it COULD bring some new members in. Just a thought.

Thank you, Luke. I'm not into Instagram but often hear that this is an effective forum for photographers to reach audiences. (Esp. now that Facebook is making itself impossible.) I'll check you out there.

Thanks Gary. Judging by the # of people who viewed this, and the complete lack of responses and/or corresponding instagram feedback, I'm guessing the people who use this site AND instagram are few and far between! Looks like another example of the major generation gap. Let's work to change it

I enjoy Instagram and mostly post iPhone photos from my travels, hikes and photo shoots. http://instagram.com/gregvaughn

I just joined a few days ago. I like the opportunity to post alternative versions of my images, sometimes using different RAW files to tailor to the format. http://instagram.com/magichourtravelscapes/

Followed Kah Kit. Btw, love your tagline "I photograph everything but weddings, kids and pets"

I think it's a great idea, Luke, but I'm not totally sure on how Jim et al could execute it. Instagram's terms re images posted with their service are concerning to some, but many top pro's are on it as well! Your comment re generation gap is likely relevant...two of my daughters have Instagram and I do not (and I'm "only" 42). In fact, Marlise runs an Instagram account for her bunny that is gaining about a thousand followers a month! Crazy world.
