February 2015 GOTM - Alberto Patiño

We are pleased to present the work of Alberto Patiño as our February 2015 Gallery of the Month (Galleries > GOTM). Alberto's gallery contains a pleasing variety of subjects, each of which I'm sure you'll find as pleasing to view as I do.

THANK YOU all so much for this honor !!! I am truly humbled by the selection of my gallery as the Gallery of the Month. Since joining NPN barely two months ago I have encountered nothing but friendship, camaraderie, and true good will. I have received many helpful critiques of my photographs, that have always been thoughtful and meaningful. I converted to digital not too long ago and have been in and out of various photography websites for only two years or so. NPN is the first site where I feel that interactions among members are truly meaningful, in the sense that we are all in this to help each other out, to learn and grow, and to enjoy the work of other photographers. In my experience this is not the norm, so it is truly refreshing to find out that NPN is different.

I apologize for taking so long to respond to this post. These are busy times in my day job (college professor), and when I log onto NPN (often for a few minutes in between classes) I tend to gravitate towards the galleries, to the detriment of the forums...so it sometimes takes me a few days to catch up with the topics...

It has been only two months, but it sure feels as if I have known all of you for many years. THANKS AGAIN!!!!!!!
