A friend of mine and her boyfriend (Jeremy Gross) are working in Kenya doing some elephant conservation work. He had posted a couple pictures of an elephant that fell in a mud hole on his facebook page and I encouraged him to really "get the story out". He went with a news agency and it was picked-up world wide - here's the story with his photos and video.
I think the video really helps convey the story (especially with the music). I know a lot of wildlife photographers say they don't "care for" or don't "need" video functionality on their cameras, but when you have a once in a lifetime experience like this, it's great to be able to get HD video with the camera that's already in your hands.
