Winds at Mt Rainier March 30, 2015
As I drove home from work the view of these clouds on Mt R caught my eye. I’ve seen plenty of lenticular’s but not seen a kick-out of clouds like this. It was calm where I stood and had to be a howler on the mountain-top. I added drama with the high contrast and dark cast to the sky.

Nikon 200mm at F6.3 and 1/160 with polarizer, tripod…cable.

Spectacular event, Ken! I've never seen anything like that on The Mountain in all my life here. Really glad you were able to capture the moment, and I thank you for sharing it with us.

Nice Ken! I missed the sight yesterday. Glad you captured it. I love the drama you added to the shot - really enhances sense of the strong winds.
