Which condor
I'm trying to decide which of these 3 photos is the better and would like to get some opinions and C&C. We were in cliffs in the Aysen area of northern Chilean Patagonia to get some pictures of these birds. We got there early and then waited for the sun and wind to be favorable for them to get airborne. We were actually looking down on one sitting on the cliff below us. All taken with Nikon D750 w/400 mm focal length.

Number 3 - a juvenile

I think the top one is the most interesting, while the last is probably the "cleanest" (uniform background and tones). I do think the last one could use a looser crop though.

The middle because of the head turn.

Hi Kathryn, I like the setting in 1 but it doesn't look as sharp as the other 2. As Patrick said the head turn is nice in 2 and 3 looks good but I would include more room especially on the left if you have it. I would vote 2 as my favorite over 3 largely because it's an adult. But I would crop a bit from the bottom of 2 to make it less square and I would try to selectively reduce the exposure on the wings and tail as they look a bit bright to me. Nice job it must have been a great experience photographing these birds. :toast:
