This month we are pleased to showcase the work of Preston Birdwell. A NPN member and active participant (including moderating) since 2002, Preston has been a part of NPN from the beginning!
Residing in Columbia, California, Preston's gallery is filled with superb photos from that state and the American west. We highly recommend that you set some time aside to peruse Preston's Gallery!
Excellent choice here, Jim. Not only for the quality of the fine images posted in his gallery, but just as importantly is his long term dedication to NPN as a member and moderator. Preston's gallery in the very beginning years back no doubt began with the progression from 35mm - 6.45 - 4x5 - and now most recently into DSLR work. No matter the photographic unit used in the field the results were always very positive overall.
Congratulations to you Preston for not only your long term seniority here at NPN, but also as acknowledgement for your hard work and continued dedicated support to the site. This support provided is not only in your assigned areas as a moderator, but also across the entire site in helping other members with various site related needs.......
Preston and I yammer on back-and-forth about technology stuff all the time which unfortunately detracts from his abilities and talent as an artist, and a fine one at that. Well timed and well deserved recognition here.
