At 36 pounds and minimum focus distance of 46 feet, I'd say it has a bit limited use..... :biggrin:

No doubt the comments were a bit tongue in cheek because of the crazy price. I mean $180k for something you can't drive or live in is crazy somewhere on this planet I'm sure........ :biggrin:

Wow, a couple years back they had one for sale for $99,000. I should have "invested" in it, lol!

So, $180,000 for 1200mm @ f/5.6

-OR-

$13,627 for a Canon 7D II w/1.6 crop factor ($1,699), 600mm/4 ($11,499), 1.4x TC III ($429) = 1,344mm @5.6

The remaining $166,373 will renovate your kitchen, put your daughter through her first 2 years of college and get you a Tesla P85D S that does 0-60mph in 3.1 seconds (not a typo) and uses no fossil fuels. Hmmmm... Door #1, Door #2, Door... :jump:
