In the comments field on posts for the Gallery pages (and I think the forum pages as well) the Image loading information on the screen says your image can be up to 1600 pixels/1MB.  However, if you try to load that large an image, you get a message that says it can't be above 500KB.

wink

I noticed this last week or so too, Dennis. Not sure Jim saw my message back then on it. Lets see if this later message catches his attention. cool

Dennis, it is just the warning verbiage that we need to fix.  If you get too close to 1MB, the photo may be rejected based on how the software reads its size.

I just looked at the pixel dimensions of both images Jim posted. They were both resized to 720x480 for display on the forum page. Once clicked, they display at the their full sizes. So, it looks like the software is working just fine.

Jim is correct--keep the file size a bit smaller than the limits-50KB is a safe bet. Your OS will always add some 'overhead' to the file.

Not sure, but I've only sized mine to 800k and not even close to 1meg to date. Anyway, not a biggie I'll try again at some point in time I'm sure.

Thanks for checking this out, Jim........crying
