Eric posted a great update on RMNP a couple of weeks ago. thinking about going up tonight. anyone have a newer update? Eric? thanks.

He's got shots from Loch Vale as recently as 5/20, shouldn't bee too much different from that.

Some quick notes:
Trail Ridge *should be* totally open. Glacier Basin campground is open. There is practically no snow on the trail up to Dream Lake. The aspens at the north end of Bear Lake have leafed out.

When does fall river road open? Its been a great legal place to walk my dog in the off season :smile: .

Fall River Road typically doesn't open until around July 4.

Trail ridge is now open for the summer, 24 hours a day, I was there today. Aspens are in leaf, Alberta falls trail has no snow. Lakes are mostly free of ice althouhg there are still snow banks around. I went over Trail ridge to Grand Lake today and saw two Moose on the west side.
