I recently updated from Photoshop CS6 to Photoshop CC 2015. In Photoshop you can go into "file information" and name your document. In this area I put the name of my subject and where it was shot. In Photoshop CS6 once you entered a title and wenet to enter the same title for another file it would prompt you again with the same name. This has disappeared in Photoshop CC. Is it still there and I need to do something to activate it? I would be pleased to receive your comments on this element of Photoshop.
Thanks, May

Hi May,
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Adobe removed the auto fill for metadata starting with the 2014 version. I found a few forums where people were really frustrated by this, and rightfully so (https://c.getsatisfaction.com/photoshop_family/topics/why_was_auto_complete_in_file_info_removed_from_the_latest_2014_version_of_photoshop_cc).Who knows why Adobe chooses do make these decisions. Look how Save For Web has now been moved to File -->Export and now has the word Legacy added. Yep, Adobe is gearing up to do away with that too. The web site design folks are furious, that feature is essential to dialing in a small-sized version so web pages will load faster. Adobe's take on it is that everyone's on broadband now. Seriously. We should take a poll of how many NPN folks do NOT have access to fast internet yet. Anyway, that's Adobe and you can't change their mind, emailing them goes nowhere. They will do what they do. Another feature removed: Oil Paint filter. I used that at times.

Thanks for the reply Paul. I thought I had already done that. Yes, I was afraid it was gone. I do miss it.

This is why I most likely will never upgrade my CS5. I'm not sure why Adobe does these things, but clearly photographers are not who they care about. I figure I've got a great editing program in CS5, and it will work just fine for a long, long time.
