A "trailer" for Volume I of our series on Why Nature Photography audio slideshows can be viewed here. We expect to have volume 1 completed in a few weeks once we receive the submissions from those who are contributing to this first volume. Each volume will include 8 to 10 contributors and will be published here on the NPN website, as well as on NPN's Facebook page and YouTube.
We will be producing additional volumes of this series in the coming months;
Volume II - Landscapes
Volume III - Birds
Volume IV - Wildlife
Volume V - Macro
Volume VI - Flora
Additionally, we envision volumes based on region for NPN regional groups.
If you are interested in contributing to any of these volumes, detailed information can be found here or you can contact me at editor@naturephotographers.net .
Jim, looks really good. I noticed the change in dropping the copyright names off the images and the addition of the photog's data at the bottom now. Has a very professional & clean look about it......

Thank you Paul! Members can still add their copyright watermark on the photo if they like. In addition, they can either specify their email address, website URL or nothing else along with their name and location that appears under their photos.
We look forward to producing these audio slideshows!

This is really nice. The challenge, in my view, is going to be to have each photographer say something really different. To not all say 'I do it in order to better appreciate nature'.

Looks great, Jim. I'd like to jump in. The audio file may be a challenge for me but I'll make my best effort.

Igor, that is a good point. I think there is room for people to express themselves in different ways, or even relate personal experiences that may have prompted them to get out in nature with a camera.
Jerry, I thought that would be a problem too. I composed what I wanted to say, rehearsed it in my mind and using my iPhone voice note feature, hit it the first time. The recording I used was actually my second, which I liked better than the first. Turns out it wasn't so hard after all!

Well..... don't have an iphone, but I do have an ipad. I'll look closely at the specs and get right to this.

Thanks Mark! We're pleased with the production quality as it stands, now it's just a matter of adding more sections - which we will do as we receive them.
