Flowering Spreader
Showing my age, I have forgotten what species this flowering spreader is that grows by my deck. The non-blooming plants have a varigated leaf but on the ones that bloom the leaves are green with a maroon edge. Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

Canon 10D, 100 macro, 2.0 extension, ISO 200, 1/4 sec @ f/11, curves, selective color, sharpen

This is nice Wayne. I'm not familiar with spreaders, but what you've shown here is beautiful - excellent color and detail throughout. I must admit that my eye would like to see more symmetry in the petals, but this is still nice.

Have a great holiday - hope you are able to get out and take a few shots! Thanks for your post. :wavey:

Wayne I like the red along the edge of the leaf and the detail in the flower. Very nice, thanks for sharing!
