Went along to a farm yard one evening this week, with the express intention of doing House Martins coming down to mud. Had spotted them whilst working there that same day. They Performed beutifully and were not one bit bothered by my prescence.
On arrival not a dicky bird, must have ceased early so I looked around for other things.
Stock Doves made regular movements in and out of an old barn and at odd times stopped to perch. This was the result of manouvering my car to get the back drop seen.

Nice one Major, these are usually very timid birds.

Great shot Major, of an often overlooked but attractive bird. I attract them regularly to a feeding station, but in messy surroundings.............this is a background to die for!
