Death Valley Flash Flood

There was a series of record breaking storms in Death Valley that caused serious damage to Scotty's Castle and some roads within the park.

If you're planning to go to DV, it will be best to check for current road and facility conditions before you go.

Thanks Preston, hadn't heard about this event. Already have my DV motel reservations for the spring in anticipation of some epic wildflower bloom if the El Nino materializes as speculated.
