Defintely spread out...and when you find them, there's alot of junk surrounding them, or they are still in use! This one was clean and clear, so we stopped to shoot it. I liked this corner...Mark was working the opposite corner...cant wait to see what he came up with. it was kind of funny.

Rick, this is nice. I am really enjoying seeing shots from your recent trip. I hope you are still going to try and go again June 8 or 9.

Corners are often the best places to shoot architechture of any kind. Gives that 3-D feel that makes most scenics work better. I like this. Nice color contrasts and perspective. Something I'll just throw out there - did you try to open the door just a bit to make the capture more dynamic and perhaps inviting?

Thanks Tim. I really wish I could go, but it is looking more and more like I cant go. I've got a show to do from the gallery Ned and I are in, and this is the only weekend I can deliver my material, plus a really good friend...one which I haven't seen in over 3 years is trying to come over this way that same weekend. Because of work, and those major projects I was talking to you about, I cant take a fri or monday off either. All things are just adding up to no, unfortunately...that's why I jammed out there this weekend when I had the chance. I just wanted a quick in and a quick out.
Marc, thanks for the comment. If you could see me right now, you would see me pounding my head against my lcd...that would have been a good idea about the door  ...oh, well...I'm sure it will be there in August when I am gonna try and go back. The trick is finding it again

Rick,
It's interesting to see the difference in color and tint between yours and Mark's image. As I told you before, I think something is mssing. Maybe a crop off the right to omit the corner of the building and about an inch off the grass might help.

I like the geometric angles and how the grasses contrast with the straight lines of the weathered wood. This barn was quite a find. Interesting shot.
