Hey guys! I'm in need of advice/suggestions for winter clothing for a trip early next year. Temperatures will be below freezing and I have no idea what to buy and what brands to get. Could you folks suggest some jackets/etc that would be great for keeping me warm but won't be a hindrance to using the camera
Specific Brand/Model info would be much appreciated
Thanks!

If you stick with major brands (Mountain Hardware, North Face, Marmot, REI) you will get a great product. I like 800 fill down myself. Very light and very warm. Compare prices among the brands, look for sales and at reviews of the models and then buy what looks good. I rely heavily on user reviews and have done well with that strategy.
I have a Marmot 800 fill down jacket I have been extremely happy with and got it at a great price on sale, but it was several years ago. The models change all the time, so you will have to do a little research to get the good product at a good deal.
